Fantasy by Numbers (“Fantasy by Numbers”, “we”, “us”) operates this print shop at print.fantasybynumbers.ca. Our address is 38 Elma Street, Okotoks AB T1S 1J7. This notice describes how we handle personal information for this storefront under Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and Alberta’s Personal Information Protection Act.

What we collect

There are no customer accounts. To place an order we collect your name, email, phone, shipping address (or the fact that the order is a pickup), order contents, uploaded artwork, and a record that you confirmed you have the right to print that artwork (including the time and IP address). Payment card details are handled by Stripe. We store Stripe payment references, not card numbers.

When you upload a photo we re-encode it and strip embedded metadata such as GPS and camera EXIF before it is stored.

How we use it

We use this information to print and deliver your order, email you about pickup or shipping, keep a record of the artwork rights confirmation, handle refunds, and meet legal and tax duties. Staff see order details in our admin tools so we can fulfil the order. We do not sell customer lists.

After you place an order, we may email you about this shop, for example seasonal updates such as holiday cutoffs. You can opt out at any time using the unsubscribe link in any of the emails. We do not send marketing just because you visited the site.

Cookies

We use a guest cookie (about 30 days) so your cart and designs stay with this browser, a session cookie (about two hours of idle time), and a CSRF cookie to run the shop. We do not use advertising or analytics cookies.

How long we keep it

Unfinished designs that are not in a cart or an order are deleted after 14 days of inactivity, including the uploaded files.

Paid order records, artwork (the re-encoded original, a low-res preview, and the print PNG), and related files are kept so we can reprint if needed. Email prints@fbns.ca if you want us to delete your files and identifying data. We handle those requests by hand. We still keep order and tax records as required by Canadian tax law, typically six years.

Artwork is stored privately. It is not shown in a public gallery.

Who else sees it

We share what is needed to run the shop with:

• Stripe, for payment
• SMTP2GO, to send order email
• Chit Chats and last-mile couriers, for shipping labels and tracking

We host the shop ourselves in Canada. Stripe, SMTP2GO, and US shipping partners may process information outside Canada, including in the United States. Paying or submitting an order is your consent to that transfer for those purposes.

Your requests

You can ask what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete files and identifying data. Use prints@fbns.ca and include your order number if you have one.

Children

This shop is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

We may update this notice by posting the new version on this page and changing the date above.
