Terms of service

These terms apply to custom UV print orders placed at this shop (print.fantasybynumbers.ca). The shop is operated by Fantasy by Numbers, 38 Elma Street, Okotoks AB T1S 1J7 (“Fantasy by Numbers”, “we”, “us”). This is a separate storefront from our main shop at shop.fantasybynumbers.ca. Paying for an order means you agree to these terms.

Orders and payment

Prices are in Canadian dollars. Optional USD amounts on this site are estimates only. You finish payment on Stripe’s hosted checkout. We do not store card numbers.

Canadian orders are charged GST, HST, or GST plus provincial tax from the shipping province. Pickup orders are taxed as Alberta. We do not collect US sales tax.

Typical processing time is 3–5 business days after payment, then transit. Larger orders may take longer. Holiday or busy-period changes are posted as banners on this site.

Cancellation

This is a self-serve print shop. Email prints@fbns.ca if you need to cancel. You may cancel for a full refund of the amount you paid until we have started printing. Once printing has started, the order cannot be cancelled.

Artwork warranty

You warrant that you own the image and text you upload, or that you have a licence that includes printing them on physical goods. A “personal use” or “not for resale” note does not make third-party characters, logos, or celebrity photos legal to print.

Limited print licence

You grant Fantasy by Numbers a limited licence to store, preview, print, and fulfil that order only. We do not host a public gallery of customer designs and we do not reuse your art as catalog examples without a separate written grant.

Indemnity

You agree to indemnify Fantasy by Numbers against claims that arise from artwork you submitted, including copyright and trademark claims.

Refuse, cancel, destroy

We may refuse, cancel, or destroy a job that appears to infringe someone else’s rights or that we do not wish to print. Examples include superheroes, Disney, Nintendo, sports logos, celebrity or politician likenesses, brand logos, sexually explicit content, hate or harassment, and imagery of real firearms. Staff judgement is final.

If we refuse a job before printing has started, we refund the amount you paid in full through Stripe. If we refuse or destroy a job after printing has started because the design appears to infringe someone else’s rights or to break these terms, you are not entitled to a refund. You already confirmed you had permission to print the artwork.

Rights holders can contact prints@fbns.ca to report suspected infringement.

The print you approved

You review a mockup and, when the file is low resolution, you may still proceed after acknowledging that it may print blurry. We are not responsible for softness, pixelation, or other quality loss from a file you chose to print.

The physical print will not match the screen mockup exactly. Colour can shift. UV ink, white ink, cylinder wrap seams, and the texture or colour of the blank can show through. Stock blanks can vary slightly from product photos.

These are decorative UV prints. We do not promise dishwasher, outdoor, fade, scratch, or food-safe performance.

Shipping

We ship to Canada and the United States with Chit Chats, who hand the parcel to a last-mile courier. Every shipment includes tracking. You are responsible for a complete, accurate address. You may change the address until we hand the parcel to the carrier, not after.

US shipping prices include estimated duties prepaid through our carrier. You remain the importer of record. We do not collect US sales tax. If customs assesses a further amount, that amount is yours to pay.

If a package cannot be delivered because of an incorrect or incomplete address, or because it was unclaimed, we cannot refund or reship it.

Pickup

Pickups are in Okotoks, Alberta. They are scheduled. We email you when the order is ready and book a time. No walk-ins. Someone else may pick up if that is arranged when we schedule.

If a ready pickup is not collected within 30 days of our ready email, we may destroy items that use personal images, or donate items that do not.

Returns

Custom printed goods are not returnable once printed, except as described on the returns page.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for an order is the amount you paid for that order.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Alberta, Canada. If you have a dispute, contact us first so we can try to resolve it.

Changes

We may update these terms by posting the new version on this page and changing the date above. The posted terms apply to orders placed after that date.
